AIRSIS has assembled a seasoned team of executives and technologists who have a track record of building and growing successful technology businesses. This team has long-standing experience in the fields important to our success: satellite and wireless communications, enterprise software, embedded systems, Internet infrastructure, mechanical engineering, hardware design and integration. Dean Rosenberg—Co-founder and CEO Dean is a serial entrepreneur with an engineering background. He has extensive experience using Internet technology to solve business problems and provide new business opportunities. He was a co-founder and Executive Vice President of Abaris Technologies, LLC, a predecessor company to AIRSIS that has been developing enterprise applications for commercial and government clients since 1995. Prior to founding AIRSIS, Dean was the founding Chief Technology Officer of SupplyPro Inc., a company that provides Internet-enabled dispensing systems to large organizations. SupplyPro serves over 400 customers (60 of the Fortune 500) and raised over $30 million in venture capital. Dean has a BA in Computer Science from the University of California, San Diego, and an MBA from the San Diego State University. Nick R. Skinner—Vice President, Business Development Nick has nearly 25 years of experience as an accomplished senior operations and business development executive for companies focused in the domestic and international maritime and technology markets. He will be responsible for directing the U.S. and international operations and direct business development into new markets. Prior to joining PortVision, Nick was vice president of international operations for Hercules Offshore, Inc. where he was in charge of all day-to-day international operations, including the transition and compliance with applicable U.S. and local regulations. Prior to his work at Hercules, Nick was the vice president of International Operations for Danos & Curole Marine, Inc., managing international operations, marketing and operations strategies. Nick has also held positions at Iris Inspections Services, International Datalink, Teleco Oilfield Services and NL Baroid. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Norwood College in the United Kingdom and is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. Michael P. Lindmark—Chief Financial Officer Michael joined AIRSIS in December 2006, and is responsible for the day-to-day accounting and finance activities, human resources, planning and budgeting, treasury, legal and contracts for the company. His broad background spans both finance and operations positions, in both corporate and entrepreneurial environments. Prior to AIRSIS, Michael served as Regional Director of Accounting for Memec, LLC, where he directed the finance operations for the company’s Americas regions. Before Memec, he was the Chief Financial Officer for Authentic Images, Inc., where he managed all finance and operations for the manufacturer of licensed collectables. Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from the University of San Diego and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of California. James Drewett—Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Jim is a hands-on technologist with a passion to build products. He is adept with software and hardware, communications, mechanical and electrical engineering, and systems integration. He is a recognized expert and industry speaker in satellite-based remote asset management and homeland security technologies. He was the founding CEO of Applied Digital Security, Inc. (SI), also a predecessor company of AIRSIS. ADSI delivered satellite-based remote asset management and homeland security solutions since 1998. From 1980-1997, Jim was in the marine engineering business as owner-builder and project leader. Jim attended San Diego State University. Dr. Alan Creutz—Chief Operating Officer Alan is an accomplished senior executive in technology companies ranging from pre-funded startups to $100million/year revenue with operations throughout the world. Prior to joining PortVision he served as an executive, investor, and consultant for a variety of emerging companies. Previously, Alan was Vice President of Software Solutions for Systems & Computer Technology Corporation and President of Soflinx, a telecommunications company focusing on the intelligence community. Alan serves on several Boards of early stage company. A graduate of Columbia University, Alan holds a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan, and served as Reactor Officer in the U.S. Navy. |
